Client profile :

Sent out over 130 resumes to potential employers of many different industries. No interview invitation received.
Changes made through consulting :
Before advising on strategy, we squeezed almost every detail from her pre-college years through college years, identifying her strengths and weaknesses. Surprisingly, she had a great aptitude for math and abstract thinking. So we helped her become acquainted with the idea of business capabilities, and based on our observation and analysis, offered her to explore a few industries - pharmaceutical, tech and finance that are undergoing significant changes that intrigued her and matched her personal interests. Her options, through this process, narrowed down to several companies that matched her interests and ambition.
Understanding what she needed to grab attention, we gave her a few strategies with which she secured interview invitations from all of the several companies to which she sent her new resume without any BS. Private equity firms did multiple rounds of interviews with her, and she shined with technical preparations we provided. They specifically enjoyed the personality she presented herself to be, and the constructive plans she offered to execute if hired to achieve greater profits through some new tactical deals they had not thought about.
Outcome :
