Changes made through consulting :

As she clearly set her goal on getting the highest paying job possible, we walked her through many questions that helped her think about herself from different angles. Most notably, she learned that she cared most about sharing her values, among which was empathy. More than she knew, her friends we spoke with gave us credible evidence on her personality. She was a talented facilitator.

Using her unique qualities of facilitator, we introduced her to potential employers whose businesses involved different roles around facilitation. Speaking with employees of potential employers, she learned that she wants to work with a group of professionals serving multiple needs of clients very closely day and night. With her objective specified, we were able to identify a team within a potential employer, willing to give her a chance.

She spent several months working for the team, and following rounds of evaluation, she was made an offer for Strategy & Transactions. She was very pleased about the prospect of working with clients of diverse industries and growing her experience internationally.

Outcome :

Joined Deloitte.
